A serious plantaholic! My love and passion for nature, flowers and foliage started when I was in my teens learning from my mother who was a keen gardener. I have developed my own garden over 33 years. Being so close to nature inspires to create interesting and innovative floral designs.
I am always looking to develop new skills and techniques, and explore floral art from around the world, drawing on inspiration from exposure to talented florists and floral artists.
Garden Party Story
Garden Party Floral Design has been a long time dream, a floral fantasy that captures all that is perfect, enchanting, beautiful and delightful using flowers. I have worked with flowers over a long period of time, for friends, family, church flowers and flower festivals.
I am City and Guilds Floral Designed trained and have a passion for flowers, gardening and growing my own flowers and foliage. I like to work closely with nature in designing seasonal arrangements and create innovative designs that are different.
I completed my NAFAS area demonstrator training in October 2016, and having passed my test now demonstrate in the Northwest and Cheshire areas.
As a keen gardener and flower arranger I love all types of flower arranging including modern, traditional , continental and embraces new concepts and developments to keep flower arranging exciting and inspiring.
Seasonal flowers and foliage are used when possible and the use of British Flowers to support sustainability .
Garden Party Studio location
Based in Penwortham in Lancashire the Garden Party Studio is where creating new ideas for floral design and demonstrations take place.
